Tuesday, August 27, 4-6:30 Ely Garden Tours, August 24 at 1:00. Contact the library to add your garden to the tour. We will meet at 1:00 to start the tour (no need to sign up ahead unless you want to add your garden to the map). We will be ending up at the library to sample tomatoes, so bring some veggies or a snack to share.
Loads of produce have been at the market...it is a great time to be thinking about freezing and canning some of this awesomeness for the dark days of winter. Here is a good instructional page:

Seed Lending Library The
Ely Seed Lending Library has free seeds available for your backyard garden this year. Stop in the library and see what we have to offer.

Ely Public Library The Ely Public Library is offering free classes in many topics including computers, electronics, and knitting. Stop in the library for more information about signing up for these classes or to find out how you can help teach classes in your areas of expertise.
